B.Sc Fire and Safety
B.Sc. in Fire and Safety is a Bachelor of Degree course. This course focuses on areas such as – Fire safety, Industrial safety infrastructure management and planning. Industrial safety is a very vast field. It consists of sub-branches such as – fire safety, safety engineering, environmental legislation, safety management, pollution, risk analysis etc. This course can be pursued by students who have passed 12th stream. Those who have completed 3 year diploma in any discipline are also eligible to join in 2nd year B.Sc. Fire and Safety (Lateral Entry).
Duration
- For B.sc, degree ,the course shall extend for a period of Three years under semester pattern ,.i.e. two semester per year and six semesters in total
- Admission is based on the marks in the qualifying examination.
Eligibility
The student must pass in the Higher Secondary Examination (HSC) conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu or an examination accepted as equivalent thereto by the university, for admission to B.Sc in Fire & Industrial Safety Management.
